Silly Girls. They are at a really fun age and are starting to enjoy doing things together.

After church and nap time we got to dip into are Easter baskets. They had a few fun little trinkets, a slinky which was a hit and some chocolate bunny, which is my weakness. Halle loved her Chocolate bunny.

I did several things this year since Avery is older, to talk about the real reason we celebrate Easter.
Here is Avery helping me make Breakfast.

We did Resurrection rolls. You can find the idea I used here. Avery caught on and talked about the Tomb being empty.

We also did this Easter Countdown. Avery loved it and reminded us each day that we need to open an egg. She loved picking out the right number for the day. We enjoyed the spirit that it brought to our home. We also used the Gospel Art picture kit and some of the living scripture videos to go along with the egg on different days.
The day we learned about the Last Supper. We had our own. We ate dinner on the coffee table. We ate fish, olives bread, cheese, grapes and grape juice. The girls loved it. Halle especially since she had access to everything. They now have a love for olives and putting them on their fingers. We then talked about how Jesus washed each of the disciples feet and than we washed each others and talked about love and service. It was a very special Easter.
