Going to the Doctor

I didn't want to have to take the girls to the Doctor for their check-ups twice, so I scheduled their appointments together. I was really nervous. Avery was not excited to go because she didn't want to get a shot, just Halle. But she did ask to wear a pretty dress to the Doctor's office. Things went pretty good. Avery did well. They said that they can hardly ever get 3 year olds to do the eye exam. But to their amazement, she did the whole thing. Her vision was 20/40. But they said not to worry about it until she is older unless we notice that she is having problems. More than likely it is just because of her age and she might just not have wanted to do some of them. She is 32.5 lbs and 37 inches tall. 70% for her weight and 50% for her height. The hardest part was when Avery got her shot, was crying and Halle started crying because Avery was crying. But Avery did get to use her new Princess bandaids that she got for her birthday. Halle did really well too. The Doctor asked if she is normally so mellow. She weighs 18lbs 3 oz and is 28 3/4 inches long. She went from the 13% to the 8%. So the Doctor gave me some information on fattening up her food. She is a good eater, but just little I guess. Now we get to look forward to the post shots long naps, yea!
